Abstract

Language teaching and learning have never been static fields. They continuously evolve in response to shifts in educational paradigms, sociocultural dynamics, policy reforms, and technological advancements. Contemporary discussions in language education address a wide range of critical issues, including pedagogical approaches, learner motivation, curriculum development, outcome-based education (OBE), assessment practices, teacher professionalism, and the challenges posed by digitally native generations. The section Issues in Language Teaching and Learning critically examines these dimensions, offering both theoretical perspectives and practical implications for educators, researchers, and policymakers.
